“Education is an ornament in prosperity and a refuge in adversity.” Colleges are centers of education. Shri Shahu Mandir Mahavidyalaya is a college which truly serves the purpose of educating all without any distinction and in that it stands distinct from the rest. For  we educate the poorest of the poor with the motto “Bahujan Hitaya, Bahujan Sukhaya” i.e for the well-being and happiness of the masses. It is for this significant role played by our college in “spreading higher education among the most disadvantaged sections of society besides our award winning performance in sports, games, N.S.S. & N.C.C. that the NAAC awarded us with A Grade.
